It seems like each day that I sign in, someone has updated their AR Photo. Greg Nino of RE/MAX has changed his picture at least 4 times. Loreena Yeo of 3:16 Team Realty has changed her picture at least 4 times. And Donna Harris of RE/MAX. Okay, Donna only changed it once, but still.. changes are happening all around me. It was at that moment that I decided to make a change myself. My first picture change happened about 3 days ago when I wrote a post about the Daddy Daughter Dance which happens each February at the Frisco Convention Center in Frisco Texas. 2 days later, I changed my picture to Superman or as Loreena Yeo of 3:16 Team Realty in Frisco Texas referred to him - SuperBlogger!
This afternoon I was in a Webinar with Katerina Gasset of International Properties and Investments, Inc. The Webinar hosted by Katerina is called SEO To The TOP. Its a 9 week SEO course which helps you understand SEO and what it takes to move your website(s) onto the first page of Google and other search engines. By following her instructions, not only will your website be displayed on page one, but you could even move up to the top three links on page one. Now that is results!
Anyway, while taking this class, playing with my site, and thinking about my 'niche', I was noticing the current picture that I displayed on ActiveRain - dah dah dah... SuperBlogger! (okay, I wont do that again). I thought that if I was going to have a large amount of traffic coming to this site and others, I want to be sure they see my picture. Sure, everyone likes Superman. And who knows, maybe I would have received business from it. For now, I am not going to take the chance.
I thought I'd take a moment and share with you the pictures, in case you did not see it previously. You will probably feel like I do... the similarities are incredible. With that being said, I want to help you. I am on the Right.
So, what do you think? Is this more acceptable for a customer or do you think it matters?

Hi Robert. I am a picture kind of guy. I also think you should have your picture on your business card, but many agents disagree. I guess its about personal preference.

JL - I am a spiderman fan, but Superman is better. Hopefully you don't 'unsubscribe' because I said that, but someone had to tell you. I thought about making my picture seem a little old like they do at Six Flags, but then that might confusing people.
John - I don't know if it truly matters. I've tried to think about whether a picture would encourage or discourage me from reading someone's blog and I decided that it wouldn't. However, I for one am sick of you changing yours. I scroll through my blog log looking for people whose posts I want to check out. I keep having to look twice for yours :)

I havent been around in awhile. Havent been feeling too well. Doc changed my BP meds and it made me sluggish. Needless to say...had to change again. I think i am back for good now

Yeah, I noticed all the picture changing as well, but have been too busy to stop and say anything, which I apologize for because I ringed people's necks for not noticing when I made the change!! It's a good, picture, but have you thought about smiling... a little?

HA. Thanks for noticing Donna. I have another one that I may change it to, but have to give it some time. Im actually always smiling and laughing, but hardly ever in pictures.
