My First iPhone Post - Now I can post anywhere / anytime

Recently I read Post from ActiveBrad. The post was about the updated feature which allows updates from your iPhone. For months I have reading posts on my phone and unable to comment. So imagine my joy when I read about this update. I know what your thinking, 'why not just wait?' I could wait but don't you have down time when you are not next to a computer? Times where you are getting you oil change or at you children's dentist appointment. (fellas - how about when your shopping with your wife?? Just kidding ladies.)  Anyway, I was excited and do plan on using my iPhone to comment and review some 'bookmarketed' items. Hopefully I have spelled everything correctly. The downfall to the iPhone update is that you can't see the whole message. It's not very slow either, I'm a professional texter thanks to my kids and the texts they send to me. Thanks for reading and thanks ActiveRain for the latest update.

** the following was updated from my desk, as a follow-up to see how my post appears **  Here is a quick wish list for future iPhone upgrades:

  • Ability to add pictures
  • Ability to format a post.  The above was written as 3 separate paragraphs but appears as one large paragraph.

Wooo Hoooo!  I didn't know this was in the works!  I'm off to my iPhone to test it out.  Thanks for posting this, John.

Stacey-Ann - Its a very cool option.  However, I have noticed that its not formatted the way I typed it on my phone.  That was suppose to be about 3 paragraphs, but it looks like it saved as one paragraph.

Lorrie - Cool, right?  It was fun posting from the phone.  Mainly I want to post comments from my phone and not create posts of my own.  Looks like there are still some upgrades that need to happen, but this is good for now.

VEry cool John.  I am a BB user and was thinking about this yesterday - I can f/b and twitter on my phone but seem to get errors when going to AR so I leave it for my desktop or laptop.  I'm jealous.

Kristin - I use to receive errors also.  I went into my settles and changed it to 'allow cookies' and that seemed to work.  So, now I can Twitter, FB, MySpace, LinkedIN, and AR

Hi John, I like your new photo.  Looks like you've been working out. ;-)  I am just starting to think about checking out the iPhone, but I like my Blackberry just fine.

John - I need to try this feature out soon!  I often read when I am waiting for my kiddos at their martial arts class.

Shirley - Thank you for noticing the physique.  I've been hitting the gym.

Loreena - I have been playing online for almost 2 hours now.  That was just a small adjustment.  I have many more to go.

iBrad - I appreciate all of your help with getting my phone up and running.

Jason - See.  We all have some downtime that we could utilize to at least start a draft or something.  Im not a big fan of the end result because you can not format the post or add pics.  But, if you have some quick pointers, you could certainly take some time to start a draft and alter it when you return to the office.

My POS PDA died recently and I've gone back to the dark ages of a phone sans internet & email.  I've been trying to hold off until I get a closing to purchase a new phone.  However, this may be the proverbial straw that sends me running into the AT&T store like a kid into Toys R' Us.

So now you are playing Superman? What happened to the pic with you and your daughter? The family man will get you more business.

Iphones are a really neat item to have.

Hi Erik.  I think you may have to break down man.  Good luck!

Greg - I figured you would like it.  I also think Im going to go with the name Loreena gave me..  SuperBlogger.  Except Im not that super.  Oh well, the pic is still cool.

Angelia - Im trying to keep the look fresh.  I'll change it again soon.  Next it will have to be a picture of my son and I'll do a post on him.

NO FAIR!  Verizon only has the Storm, which I've heard mixed reviews about...oh well. I"m so tech challenged I couldn't take the stress of it all anyway, rotfl.
