Since I looked it up, I thought Id share when Chunk Your Junk is in Frisco Texas.

The next event is November 17th from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. The event is always held at the Environmental Collection Center which is located at 6616 Walnut Street in Downtown Frisco.

Remeber to bring your utility bill to show that you are a resident of Frisco Texas. If you are unable to wait until November 17th and/or the date does not work out for you, you can visit the Environmental Office on Wednesdays from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Be sure to call, in case anything changes and/or to ask about the types of items that can be donated to CYJ events.

I just LOVE the name of this event!  But I was SURE you were going to tell me it was some sort of Halloween event!  I was picturing flying pumpkins and debris whirling through the air ...

What kind of junk are we chunking?  Can I throw things??

Gene - Nope, just a place and time to throw your big stuff away.

Jared - It can be chemicals in your home and/or large furniture that the trash guys wont take in your weekly trash pick up. OR, you can schedule the trash company to come to your home and pick up large items but those items will probably just sit around your house until trash day (at least in this area). If you have things to throw away, you'll need to bring them to my house and/or pick me up so that you can throw them away here... they require a utility bill to show residency. :-)
