This was a photo taken last last year while we were on a Disney Cruise. We were all standing in the front of the ship checking out the open sea. As you will see , its quite breezy up there. Luckily for me, I keep my hair short. My son had a little movement because he keeps his hair slightly longer than mine... but my daughter... poor thing kept trying to keep it together.. and as you can tell from her posture, she had just given up trying.
Enjoy!

Poor thing. Did somebody finally give her a ponytail thingy? Her posture surely does tell the story. It stings wihen your hair gets whipped around in the wind too.
Ha-ha! A nice tight french braid would have done the trick for sure John! Of course beforehand...that is!
That's why I keep telling Alyssa that pony tails are important!
Hi John ~ Wind blowing my hair makes me nuts. What a picture! I feel her pain.
Liz
Omigosh! Poor poor baby. She must not have been happy to see the vacation photos.
Chrystina - She did end up putting her hair up, but she tried not to.
Wanda - 'before hand' is the key here. LOL
Donna - I still tell my daughter how important a ponytail is. She just doesnt like them. She'll put it up when necessary, but doesnt like it.
Liz -Its just funny how her defeated she looks in the picture. She really did have a good attitude about it and she tried to fight it the best she could.
Susan - She has lots of other photos where she was having a grand ole time. This was just one of those pictures that shows it.
Hope Mom brought her a pony tail band!
Oh, funny!!! We went on our first family cruise this spring and I remember walking the track in harbor. As we went out to sea, I swear we almost had to walk bent over. Pretty soon, I was the only one walking, but I was determined to get my mileage in. I can feel for your daughter. If it weren't for pony tails, I'd have been walking blind too! Thanks for the laugh!
That picture opens the door to some great facial hair jokes. Though she may not find them too funny. :-)
Hello John - It gets really windy on the bow of a ship. Thanks for the great picture. It reminds me of my wife and her hair on our last cruise.
Well, I hope she had fun on the rest of the trip and that isn't the only thing she remembers from it.

John, That is a great photo! She looks like she has had enough in her posture. Windy days are hard on people with long hair!
John, Great picture. I'm sure you all enjoyed the cruise.
My daughters are 24 and if they read this post they'd be jealous. No kidding they still love Disney and one of them is there right now to celebrate graduation from college.
John, I really enjoyed this picture and have to tell you that is nearly impossible for me to attempt any "wordless" posts myself!
Teral - She did have a pony tail shortly afterwards. Plus, the rest of the ship was not as windy, it was just in the very front.
Cara - There do seem to be quite a few people walking laps on the ship. I go to relax, but perhaps after doing my P90X workout I'll be more in the mood to keep in shape. Good for you for keeping at it!
Rich - Luckily my whole family has quite the sense of humor so there would be no issue here.
Andy - It doesnt look like you are going too fast, but the wind tells a different story.
Todd - She had a blast! Many great memories. We go on this cruise just about every other year.
Tony - Ive never had long hair, but I can imagine. As for her posture... its be best part of this photo. HA!
Charles - My wife is that way... a HUGE Disney fan. Since you said 'they are 24', I take it they are twins?
Russell - not many people do share 'wordless' photos... but that title seems to stick, so I went with it. :-)
John, LOL..how cute. I'm sure she LOVES you for sharing this one, lol. I've always wanted to go on a Disney Cruise...my 17 year old won't even consider it now :( I bet you had a blast!
John, Well the good news is that no one can recognize her.
Elizabeth - My kids LOVE when we take the cruise. At 12 & 13, they are looking forward to next years cruise also. Even for the teens, they have a separate club/music hall where they can hang out and not be bothered with adults. :-) My kids were going back and forth all week. Lots of fun!
Marchel - So true. It was so funny. She enjoyed herself and then put it in a ponytail for the rest of the day.
Wow John, now that's a fun bad hair day! What a great photo of her, lol.
Now that is a bad hair day for sure! And to get a picture of it! Thats great!
Looks like the weather off in the distance was a little rough, too.
