Frisco Texas Mortgage, Real Estate, Events, and more

I miss the snow... but don't worry more snow is expected in Frisco Texas

This probably sounds odd to those of you on the East Coast, but we don't get snow often. Typically, we will get snow fall and its gone within 24 hours. The below pictures were taken when the snow was still falling and it was approx 7 inches at the time.  We ended up breaking a record with 12.5 inches of snow.

If you are like me, you enjoyed having the snow around for a few days. Don't get me wrong, I have no interest in being around snow for a long period of time. I'm pretty sure I would not want to live in a place where the snow shovel was a necessity. But still, its nice when it comes for a short visit.

Have you checked your forecast lately? We are expecting MORE snow!! This year has been crazy with snow already. In previous years, we would maybe get snow once a year. This will be the third time in the first 2 months of the year.

The front of my house when it was still only about 7 inches.

From my front door to the front yard. Still coming down slowly.

Here's the forecast or the next three days. Looks like we may get some more snow. Bundle up.

John - This season has been crazy, yesterday my heat was on and today I was wearing shorts and a tank top with a sunburn to prove it.

We're supposed to get a "wintry mix" on Tuesday, but that's what they said last week and we got NOTHING!

Lisa - I am not in a rush.

Leander - I dont doubt it buddy. You have seen your fair share of bad weather.

Michelle - Thats normally how it is here all throughout the year. Really cold and then suddenly its 30 degrees hotter. Or the other way around. Its always changing and sometimes quite rapidly.

Donna - I think thats the type of thing we are getting also, except they showed some snow flakes so I went with it. :-)

Paul - We have had our share so far. Didnt think we would see it again until next December or so.

John - This reminded me about our little insider conversation about the Frisco weather. Now, do you want to rank higher than me on this term? LOL.

John, Enjoy the snow while it lasts and make a lot of memories too with your little ones! Snow angels are fun and so is having a snowman building contest!

Michael - I know the East Coast received MUCH more than we did. I like it when it comes 'sometimes'. Im positive I'd be sick of it otherwise.

Lizette - I like the 'sales' part. Im always ready for Spring too. I think when you get cold weather long enough, you are ready for warmth, just like towards the end of summer I am just about tired of all the heat.

Loreena - Figured since I was doing a post about the weather, I would throw the phrase in there. Can't hurt. :-)  You dont have to worry about competition for that spot though.

Wanda - The kids have already made a few snowmen. Who knows if we will really get that weather. Trying to predict the Texas weather is sometimes like picking the winning lottery numbers.

Cynthia - I use to love the snow, but it was when I was a kid. Now I cant imagine shoveling my car out of the snow just to get to work. I'd probably call in sick a lot. LOL

Loreena - You don't have to explain, I know deep down you are competitive. :-)
