Like many of you, I have seen a good share of calls because homeowners have found me on the internet. I don't live in a huge city like Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Orlando, etc. I live and work in Frisco Texas. Our population is just under 105K (which is not a small city, but in comparison its not large either). As a matter of fact, we still do many things like a small town.
Anyway, I've had homeowners find me on the interenet because they were looking up 'First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit Frisco Texas'. Typically those calls/emails were pretty local. I welcomed all of them, even if they homeowner had already made the purchase.
This weekend I received my first phone call outside of our great state of Texas. This call was from South Dakota and the homeowner is looking to relocate to Keller Texas. Although I do not market under Keller Texas, the homeowner was still able to find me on the internet.
So... Thank you Activerain for helping people find my on the internet easily. I've been able to assist a few homeowner's already and I look forward to assisting many more that look to move in and around Frisco Texas.

John - Isn't is great when you have proof that your marketing efforts are working? Overall this is a reall win-win as the buyer is certainly lucky to have found you.
John, the Internet has made the world smaller and easy to reach anyone anywhere (almost) if you put yourself out there enough, somebody will find you... hopefully in our business many someones. goodluck with the new clients and here's to many more!
Congratulations John.
Bo
I find it interesting that you don't consider Frisco part of "Dallas". Whenever I say I'm from Dallas, people ask me where, and then I get to say Richardson. I never start out with Richardson unless I know they know the Dallas area.
Yeah on the closed business.
Congrats on the success of your blog John!
Brian.
Thank you Erik!
You are absolutely correct Gail. The internet does make the world a smaller place and much more interesting at times. :-)
Thanks Bo!
Thats a good point Donna. And actually, whenever I tell someone where I am from, I usually will say Frisco which is about 40 minutes North of Dallas. That way they can picture it a little better. Not too many people know Frisco. I've never said I was from Dallas though. No good reason why, I just dont. Just like when I tell people I am from California. They ask where and I sayd 'Southern California, about 45 minutes North of LA.'. When people tell me they are from LA I always ask 'yeah, but where are you really from?'. Seems like anyone I talk with is not really from LA or Dallas. Its always just outside.
Thanks Brian. I'll take any and all interest action I can get.
